Feast your mince pies on this…

2025 has been a year filled with celebrations and heroes at Evil Empire, much like the next couple of weeks will be as we head into the festive period.

We’ve welcomed new heroes to the team and have celebrated contract wins with some amazing clients across the UK.

So, as our bloodstreams reach about 50% mulled wine, what better time to take a moment to reflect on 2025 and look ahead to 2026?

Celebrations

When 2025 began, off the back of a tricky Autumn 2024 Budget, there was a degree of uncertainty in the air for many businesses.

Our team worked hard to seek out new opportunities, follow up leads and pitch to businesses keen to raise their profiles and boost sales and enquiries.

As a result, we’ve onboarded some fantastic clients this year, from game-changing warehouse tech supplier Renovotec to planning and development experts Squires Planning. We’ve welcomed IT support legends WestSpring IT and have expanded our contract with the excellent TWC Home Improvements.

The fabulous, glamorous Ritzy Offices also joined the Empire, along with top-notch web design agency Stackful.

We’ve also completed standalone projects including new websites for Swindon Mobility and TPA Pro, and there’s much more in the pipeline.

Heroes

One of the definite highlights of 2025 has been welcoming new team members to help us deliver more services to our growing client base.

Rich Macarthur has been appointed as Evil Empire’s in-house web expert. Legend has it there’s a picture of Rich on the wall at WordPress HQ. Anything he doesn’t know about the CMS isn’t worth knowing!

Tiger Watts has also joined the team to provide social media support services. Tiger thrives on helping to get our clients seen by the right audiences at the right time, working hard on scheduling, engagement and more to keep our clients’ social media scaling.

Matchmakers

There were roses aplenty in August as our Account Marketing Manager, Jess Edwards, tied the knot.

With a fantastic ceremony of late-summer vibes and pre-autumnal bliss, Jess said ‘I do’ with husband Adam in style.

Quality Street(cred)

We, well, we say we, but we mean Sara, has been building our street cred working with young people at The Platform Project in Swindon.

Sara has been appointed to the Board of the not-for-profit which works closely with schools, local authorities and employers to help disadvantaged and vulnerable young people. The Platform Project helps them build a brighter future with the skills, experience and confidence they need to succeed in the workplace.

See – Sara’s not evil at all. It’s just a clever name.

Roses

It’s all coming up roses for Evil Empire’s clients who have seen some tasty stats during 2025. Here are a few stats to unwrap:

CLIENT A:

  • 10K LinkedIn impressions in one month | ⬆️470%
  • 210 page reactions | ⬆️400%
  • 55.6% open rate on their first email campaign

CLIENT B:

  • 112% – that’s the growth in followers we achieved for one of our clients on LinkedIn in one month
  • 576 page likes for the same period
  • 17.5K impressions from 17 posts – an increase of 55%

Room for any more?

Whilst we don’t want to give you gout, there’s more to feast on from the team at Evil Empire. Here’s a low-calorie look at the best of the leftovers:

  • In 2025 we officially became a HubSpot Solutions Provider – we can now help your business get the most out of the platform, with onboarding and training, CRM implementation, marketing automation setup, custom reporting, sales enablement and website development.
  • In Q4 we were on location in Frome and Bristol to support the creation of a TV ad for TWC Home Improvements – keep your eyes peeled on ITVX if you have a BA postcode!
  • We’ve also been working with Business West’s Tech for Growth support services, providing consultancy and strategic advice to several businesses and charities throughout the region.

Let’s have a Bailey’s

So, what a year it has been – and we can’t wait to get started on 2026! All that’s left this year is to wish our clients, partners and followers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

TL;DR

We’re Evil Empire. We’ve had a great year. Merry Christmas.

Another shameless plug (not the fairy lights kind)
